Work. Serve. Learn The Cary Culinary Academy is a Wake County Public School Career Academy at Cary High School. Career Academies provide students with an educational experience in a certain career industry. With the support of a community advisory board and exceptional teachers, Cary Culinary Academy introduces students to broad career opportunities in the culinary arts and foodservice management industry. Students become industry experienced, career-oriented, and cross-trained ready to make sound choices for their future. Through their experiences, our students learn how to conduct themselves in a confident, professional and ethical manner.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) is an integral part of the comprehensive secondary school program in Wake County. The Wake County Public School System offers a comprehensive Career and Technical Education program for students in middle and high schools. To ensure all students have access to CTE and are successful, Career Development and Special Populations support services are also available. All programs may not be offered at each middle and high school.
